Joe Mannen, O.D.

IMG_1991-e1520524107525

Dr. Joseph Mannen earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona and his Doctor of Optometry degree from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California.

Dr. Mannen was born in San Diego, California while his father was stationed at the Naval Hospital. He grew up in St. Helens, Oregon a small town just north of Portland. His parents are both eye doctors who owned and operated a private Optometry practice. This is where Dr. Mannen learned first hand the importance of doctors forming a strong personal relationship with their patients. He is passionate about providing the very best care for his patients and has particular interests in eye disease management and contact lenses.

Dr. Mannen is excited to join the team at Complete Family Vision Care Optometry. It is a special place with a long legacy of excellent patient care. Interestingly, his father worked in the practice some thirty years ago after his Naval service.

Outside of the office, Dr. Mannen is an avid sports enthusiast and enjoys golf, tennis, baseball, and bowling. He spends most of his free time with his girlfriend and his French bulldog puppy named Bella. Weekend adventures often include a trip to the beach, visiting a local dog park, or exploring new hiking trails.

Reduced Staff and Office Hours

Our office will remain open for patients who are experiencing any eye-related issues, including emergency visits, non-routine exams to replace lost or broken glasses and refilling of contact lens prescriptions. We will be working reduced hours, with a skeleton staff. Please call before coming into the office, as we will not be seeing any walk-ins. We are also offering telehealth for patients experiencing any eye-related infections for those who are unable to or are not comfortable coming into the office.

We appreciate your understanding in working to keep our staff and patients safe. Please take good care of yourself and stay healthy! We will get through this!
